Each category offers a prize and there is no limit on the number of entries, so don't be shy in digging out your photos!
In addition we award a prize for the best caption, applied on the night, to a photo presented in the humorous category - so please be sure to bring your humorous photos.
One-day RYA First Aid Course (8-hours)
Sunday, 2nd December, 2018
Course instructor: Peter Lytton
Timings for the day:
09:00 hrs – prompt start
Morning and afternoon breaks for refreshments
Approx.. 12:30 hrs – Lunch break
Approx. 17:00 hrs – end
Cost per person: £25.00
RYA First Aid book (content of which is specifically written for water based activities)
Morning and afternoon tea & coffee.
Please bring your own packed lunch, notebook and pen.
Please also wear clothing suitable for kneeling and lying on the floor as the course does include practical elements. If a student has an injury or medical issue that may cause problems, please speak to Peter prior to the start of the course and he will adjust the course accordingly.
Maximum of 12 places available therefore please register promptly.

The event is open to GCCC members only.
GCCC members must each register individually, which means that partner members must register separately.
Payment must be made by bank transfer to GCCC's bank account.

COMMODORE'S PARTY & PRESENTATION OF AWARDS Drinks & canapés from 8pm with annual presentation of awards at 9pm for members' participation in, or contribution to, club activities. A great social night for all members.

Shrove Tuesday last chance to "gorge" before Easter
Clive will be cooking pancakes, from 8:00pm, on the night for the members to enjoy, there will be various sweet and savoury fillings, including:-
Fresh lemon slices, sugar, honey, apple & cinnamon, grated Parmesan cheese.
Please come down to Papercourt and enjoy the evening chatting with friends, having a drink from the bar and tucking in to a pancake or two with the complements of GCCC.
Pancakes are free for club Members.
Friends and visitors are also welcome with just a £3.50 contribution to costs.
