Now that the sailing season is underway it is time for provisional bookings to be made for this year's Summer Cruise and the second briefing evening for the Cruise will be held on Tuesday 6th May at Papercourt SC. I would encourage anyone intending to join the cruise to attend.
At this briefing I will run through the proposed itinerary for the cruise and I will need all skippers to complete a copy of the attached booking form and return it to me on the night or by Wednesday 7th May at the latest.

There are a couple of options on the itinerary (e.g. whether to stay two nights in Cherbourg after the channel crossing or head straight off to St Vaast on the Sunday) and skippers are free to make up their own itinerary if they wish. The form is only a provisional booking, I'm sure there will be changes before we set off in June, but many of the French harbours have limited berthing and require booking at least a month in advance. Therefore, if you have not made a provisional booking in time for the harbours you wish to stay at there will be no guarantee that a berth will be available.
This evening will also be an ideal opportunity for skippers who are still looking for crew and crew who are seeking a berth on the cruise to meet up.
I have also attached a summary of the tide and lock times which I have updated to the latest info I have available (this is for information only and skippers must check the tide and lock data for themselves before entering or leaving ports).

I look forward to seeing you on the 6th. Anyone unable to attend, please still complete the booking form and forward it to me by the 7th May and contact me if you need any further information or explanation.
