- Jul 2007 - We are saddened with the news of Peter Green's passing. As a founder member of the club and avid instructor he introduced many to the joys of sailing. The funeral will be at Guildford Crematorium on Tuesday 17 July at 14.30. Members please let Mike Bader know if you are planning to attend. Our thoughts are with Jean and family at this time.

- Apr 2007 - We are saddened to report the passing of Ted Wooderson at the age of 82, one of the founding members of our club. He had recently launched his boat in preparation for another sailing season. Our thoughts are with Nina and family.

- Nov 2006 - The Laying-up supper was attended by around 35 members enjoying fish and chips and calorie laden
desserts. The photo competition attracted a mix of entries reflecting activities of club members over the year -
some nautical and others less so. Many pictures were current but others were of historical interest to members and
finally some were genuine photographic compositions and others were of a more light hearted nature. Wendy Aldous won
with a dawn picture taken in the Virgin Islands.

was taken by Helen Chaplin (aged 12).
